Any ideas.... When a user tried to view a previous version of a solidworks file from the history within EPDM it errors with "Error executing viewer - c:\Program files\..... "c:\documents...." the specified file was not found.
Thanks

If its Windows 64 bit then the location is c:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files.... and if its Windows 32 bit then its c:\Program files\Common Files... (Edrawings location within there).
And then as its been mentioned. WIthin PDM Administration right click on the users and set within settings viewers. One thing to bare in mind, you can either set the users up independantly to different locations, or you can point all users to the same location. Obviously if you have different operating systems i.e x64 and x86 you dont wan everyone pointing to the same location
Hope this helps
Thanks Simon this looks to be applicable on 2016 PDM version too. The file does not exist in the path that is saved. I tried to change this but it looks like I will need admin privilege to click the OK button to accept the changes. Tried to edit in x86 to trick it using a shortcut but that folder is locked down by IT. Redtape everywhere for a simple edit!!!
Turns out it was the path to Edrawings and that it was pointing to EDrawings 2010 and the EPDM was looking for 2011.
