We are having a problem with "ghost" images showing in drawings, particularly in assembly drawings. We manufacture office furniture and panels frequently have machining operations on the inside of panels. Frequently in our assembly drawings, these underside features are showing through to the outside of the panels. When zoomed in, the ghost goes away, back out and it's back. The problem is that it also prints this way. It had not been a problem until a new builder on the shop floor installed a panel upside down because it looked like the holes were on the outside in the assembly drawing. Please see the attached screen shots to see what I mean (particularly balloon item 5)
I contacted tech support at our VAR, which I must say is normally pretty good, but after about 20 minutes of trying various things, was stumped and asked me to send the files in so he could work with it. So far, I haven't heard anything back. I'm wondering if anyone else has come across similar problems and/or solutions.
Here is my workstations info:
SolidWorks 2010 SP 4.0
HP xw6400 2 gb ram (not enough, I know)
Windows XP sp.3
nVidia Quadro FX3500 w/latest drivers from SolidWorks
Any help will be most appreciated,
Steve
