Where can I find and print a copy of the standard shortcut key list?
Go to http://www.kcswug.com/main/index.php?option=com_docman&task=cat_view&gid=40&Itemid=60 and grab the hotkeys file. It shows all the standard out of the box settings for each SW version and also what I do to our machines.
If you select a free part of your CM toolbar RMB, select customize, select keyboard
RC on any toolbar and select cutomize.
Then select the keyboard tab and print the list.
Wayne, Michael, Scott-
That's great, thanks.
The problem with just printing the list as you see it is because some hotkeys are document specific. This means that you have to do it 3 times - part, assy, drawing - and then pull out the duplicates. Therefore the list that I maintain - I do the work one time so everyone else does not have to. :-)
I created an Excel spreadsheet with all my SolidWorks Hotkeys that I assigned.
I have it beside my computer if I need it. I find it very useful if I forget what I assigned.
Ditto to Waynes comment. There was an Idea submitted about this strange limitation. Maybe we can do an ER to get this changed so that all shortcuts are shown regardless to mode.
to sort out the hot keys by click on "Shortcut" menu, at the empty fill that you could fill in/create a hot key as simple by type on your key board or change the hot key.
