I got another question.
This happened most in the 'assembly'. I'm trying to mirror parts in the 'assembly', then all of a sudden the whole assemby bodies and contour turn 'fuzzy'.
Please see attachement.
Can you highlight what you are talking about.
It could be a couple of things.
Or what are your screen resolution set to.
Anything else appear fuzzy? Parts, other assemblies, drawings?
It looks like your assembly has gone from SHADED WITH EDGES to SHADED
I sometimes get the same problem and have found if I open one of the assembly parts & do a forced rebuild (Ctrl & Q) then go back to the assembly this will clear the problem most of the time, if not I just have to reopen the whole assembly.
This is an intermitant bug so it can be quite hard to capture for a VAR to look at, the same assembly can work 9 out of 10 times.
Thanks everyone for the reply.
I've tried doing what Michael and Gary said, it's not doing anything. Also played with image quality and screen resolution.
I guess it's a bug.
Depending on how many components there are in your assembly, the mirror feature may be triggering the software to switch to 'Large Assembly Mode'. If that's the case you can simply switch it back off, or change the appearance properties of the assembly after the feature.
> Tools > Large Assembly Mode.
Finally I got it to work.
Go to display mode and changes every parts in the assembly to 'shaded with edge'.
Two settings you can change. I'm not sure I understand "fuzzy", so maybe this can clarify it a little bit:
Turn on and off RealView:
Turn on and off Antialiasing. Turn it off to remove "fuzzy".
Also, the reason I can't distinguish what you are talking about, might have to do with the screenshot you uploaded. .JPG compression makes images fuzzy (that's how it works). It is not meant for screen shots of computers. Try .PNG instead. No, you cannot just resave the .jpg as .png, you need a fresh screen shot.
Hi to everybody, I have similar problem I guess my standart drawing views are normal but I take an assembly from my friend and rogram force to convert big assembly mode always even I turn off this mode colors are very dark and blurry

Try increasing the value shown below and see if that makes a difference.......
Thanks, dave but my main problem is colour and edge qualities. For ex. whem I open sub assembly in new window colours are very open but in large assembly vey dark and edges not seperated very well
Just thought I'd suggest it as I had assembly once that went quirky on me and the answer was what I had suggested to you.
Sorry it didn't help...............
I would say you have different lighting settings per file. I read that you said if you take a friends model it is different. Open each light and look at its properties. I have struggled through this very thing, it is sometimes hard to find. It could even be the scene settings with a different background.
The same thing has heppened with me in SW 2017. The solutions mentioned here have not been able to fix the problem completely. What has been able to fix the problem for me, was going into Optoins --> Performance and changing curvature generation to always and increasing level of detail. The model has returned to the previous condition. My guess is that SW tries to optimize performance during overload times (mirroring, component patterns) and reduces curvature quality.
