Help, I have a Local Vault View for EPDM that IS connected but the Blueberry Icon is missing. Usually this happens and leaves it unconnected. Help
This same machine is causing me grief again. The Blueberry Icon is missing yet I can right click and get Enterprise PDM Search. So it appears most of the windows 7 integration is missing in the registry or something. I have tried repairing the install and even uninstalling some secondary EPDM addins (GZ, web etc) but not the main. and then added them back and the blueberry icon and the primary right click stuff is still missing. I do not want to have to delete and recreate the vault view again.
Is there a set of registry setting that cover all the right click and blueberry icon stuff?
If I uninstall EPDM Cad Editor and reinstall it will it find the old vault view?
Help.
Win 7 x64, EDPM 2010 SP 4.0 (for now)
On this machine the Desktop.ini file in the vault view is missing the ViewID. It has the Vault ID. But this view was never deleted.
I am getting way to tired of this. For some unknown reason the vault view registry settings and the View ID info in the Desktop.ini file goes missing. What the heck is going on and why can't SolidWorks make this less vulnerable. Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
No one deleted the vault view or anything.
I have found that the fix at http://support.microsoft.com/kb/230738 appears to resurect the Blueberry icon and the vault view.
Further to this, even thought it says it is a connected vault view, when in it I can see any thypicat EPDM commands such as check in or check out etc.
