Hi All,
I have created assembly with parts created with top down methodology with one driving sketch and created configurations in it.
When I then use this assembly into my main assembly with two instances then I cannot switch between the configurations and cannot see the effect of dimensional changes in the sub assembly. Please see the attched SolidWorks Assembly for reference.

The configs only update after a Ctrl Q. The 600 config is especially sticky.
Have you tried the Weldment function to create the frame? That would eliminate all the mirror features which appear to be the cause of the problem.
Or are you saying that the problem is when you put this assy into another assy and having more than one config of this assy they are all the same even though you change them to be the different configs? All the configs stay at whatever is the current config of your assy.

You seemed to get the question right. The problem is not with updating with ctrl + Q but when I take the assembly into main assembly and want to use to two instances of it all with different configuration.

First off, Merry Christmas! The kids are not up yet so I get to play. :-)
Your model seems to function on my machine. I switch between the Default, 600, 400 configs and after a couple Ctrl-Q's everything seems to update. Try that and see if things work for you. When I first opened the assy, I switched configs and things were out of place. But it could also be that I don't understand your problem.
