Is anyone else a little upset about the situation with 3dconnexion and Windows 7 drivers? We purchased a lot of Spaceball 5000 USB devices for almost $400 a piece about 4 years ago. Now we are moving from Windows XP x64 to Windows 7 x64 for our new Solidworks computers.  3dconnexion tells me the device is no longer supported.  If I do purchase new devices, I will look elsewhere.
