I am unable to get a complete download of 2011 SP1 for 32bit installations. It interrupts at 12.9MB completion.
64 bit SP version downloaded fine.

I also experienced this, with the installation manager blaming a proxy error. After the error, it asked if i wanted to manually download the files, and that worked fine. I have not tried the 64bit
Unfortunately, I was attempting to download manually. I administer several standalone 32bit installations so I have to have an administrative image to carry.
Any other thoughts?
Why don't you just use the 64 bit data to create the 32 bit image installation.
I honestly had not thought of that method.
