I have been creating configurations for 3DContentCentral for several months now using the Configuration Publisher feature in SolidWorks 2010. Today I opened up one of my files to make a modification and found that I cannot keep any data retained in the "range" or "list" fields. As soon as I select the property to be modified and flip back to the "preview" all of the information is deleted.
Has anyone experienced this problem? It was working fine yesterday and today it's all gone wrong. I haven't changed any settings between then and now.
Thanks!

Well, I don't know the root cause of this issue but I did get it "fixed".
The problem, to clarify, was the loss of configuration details in the configuration publisher/property manager tables. I have some files that I have been working on posting on 3D Content Central that featured multiple, dependent drop-down selection boxes to arrive at the correct configuratin for our couplings. When I would click on the areas where that data was to be recorded my data/data ranges would be erased. It did not matter if it was a direclty typed list or a range of cells in the design table - GONE. The problem occurred in NEW files as well as older files. I created a basic cube to test and the problem existed in this file as well.
Long story short, I repaired Solidworks, I repaired Excel, and still no solution. I did virus scan, registry sweeps, defrag, anything I could think of. I finally gave up solving the problem myself and went to SolidWorks RX to "record" the problem and send it in to the experts. When I used the "record" function the problem did not exist!? So I logged out of the "record" and RX, re-opened Solidworks - problem GONE!
Frustrating to say the least. I hate not KNOWING WHY this happened or HOW to fix it if it occurs again. But at least all my models are functional again and I have SOME idea of what to do next time.
On the plus side, my computer is much more efficient with all the time I took to clean & repair & defrag.
Cheers!
