How to create a section view of a cylinder with a radius line through the center of the cylinder?
add a node to the center of the cylinder then constrain the section line to the node.
The section view must be on the radius line in the middle of the material(web) of the cylinder. So when section view is shown in the drawing it is flat and shows full lenth of radius.
Can you upload the drawing file and associated part or a hand sketch of what you are trying to accomplish?
I am not able to attach or insert an image. The icon is grayed out. I tried to cut and past and drag and drop with no success. How can I upload or send a sketch here in this forum?

Because you posted the thread under user group. Move it to general under Drawings and Detailing section.
Do you mean like in attached video.
Here is link for video http://uploading.com/files/228b9d27/Section%2BView.zip/
Sounds like what you want to do is create an assembly cut.
Create a sketch at the top of the cylinder and project it through all.
The section view must be flat, using a radius line from an existing drawing view.
See my answer in your other post (assuming this is covering the same topic).
If it is the same topic then you should mark this one answered so the focus can go on the other thread.
