Well I jumped on it and updated SolidWorks 2010 to 2011, this was easy BUT now I can't render anything. Photoview360 settings work but won't render and no preview window.
Did you update the graphics driver?
Your security software may be blocking PV360? I've had it happen here. When you have SW open and you click the preview or final render icon minimize all your open windows and I'll bet you have a pop up alerting you to the possible devestation PV360 could cause the world as we know it. LOL. The pop up conviently hides behind everything. Say OK and it should work.
I updated the graphics driver NVIDIA Quadro FX570 didn't help, Don't know how to change the security.
Photoview 360 is high lighted in the upper right corner apperances is high lighted and decals are high lighted but the Photoview icons are grayed out below that.
I wonder if something didn't update or perhaps I should try a new install.
Now yesterday the icons were working but when I clicked on them nothing would happen.
Today they are grayed out.
Computer is a Dell T7400, 16gigs memory.
Check to see if the Tools > Options > System Options > Performance > Use software OpenGL option has been selected.
Go to the TOOLS menu at the top. Click on Add-ins and then check the PV360 box.
I didn't see pv360 in the add in menu so I put the disk in and modified solidworks come to find out pv360 didn't install. So I checked it and now it's installed.
I guess I had to tell solidworks to install pv360 when I updated 2010.
