What are the Pros/Cons of Network Licensing vs Individual Installs?

I'm planning for mutli-seat use.  The users will be remote with high-speed internet connections.

I need to be able to 'move' licenses around from one user to another, based on contracts, and who will be working on any given day.

Given the new activate/transfer tools in SW2011, how secure could my control of the licenses be?  Can I handle the licenses remotely?

Or would a Network license setup, on a remote server better?  The users could login into the server to start SolidWorks and get the license key that way, correct?

I could control license use by controlling server access, correct?

What's the best method to maximize my license usage?

1. Individual installations, using activate/transfer tools to move licenses around as desired.

2. Remote server installation, users must connect to server to get SW license.

I'm thinking that the server method is the way to go, but I'm a novice at best when it comes to servers.  How difficult is this stuff?

How much help should I expect to get from a VAR if I'm buying 5 seats of SW?

Thanks for your help!!
