I have been asked to spec out Dell laptops for two project managers. They are decent solidworks users as well. I looked few threads and sounds like Dell Precisions are best to go. However, not only the money, weight is also concern here since these guys are frequent international travelers. So, I think Dell latitude is next best option here. Let me know if there are better options in the range (money and weight) of latitude.

Also, while configuring latitude E6510 (windows 7, x64, 4GB RAM), I am not sure which processor is better option. i5-560M (2.66 Ghz, turbo boost) or i7-740QM (1.73Ghz, quad-core) or i7-640M (2.80 Ghz, turbo boost). (i7s are like $120 more than i5).

Graphics card is same for all. (NVS 3100M. That is the only option or I can pick inbuilt graphics card.)
