Has anyone received this error before? I am trying to render an abnormally large assembly at 800 x 320 and the only quality I am able to render in is 'good'. Is this possibly a problem with the assembly itself?
I read somewhere that when rendering all the info is stored uncompressed until it is converted into its specified file type so is there any limitation on the size of the assembly itself? I believe the file size is around 150 MB.
I have 12 Gb of RAM, a quad core processor w/ hyperthreading enabled and a Quadro FX 3800 graphics card.
Update: Is there any limit to the geometry of the assembly? At the time of failure it reads:
Surfaces ~50,000
Segments ~12,500
Vertices ~ 181 M
Polygons ~ 172 M
Geo Memory ~ 154 MB
I assume you're running PV360 2010? If so PV360 2010 is a 32 bit app so even though you have it installed on a 64 bit system its bound by the 4 gig memory limit. You're running out of memory and the things to try and get around are:
Simplify your assembly
lower your render quality settings
render at a smaller resolution
