Close all solidworks documents, go to system options, performance, and check that use software open gl hasnt been checked by mistake.
It is checked marked but it is grey and I can't uncheck it. I don't know why it is like this because I didn't mde any changes to the settings.
So the question is half aswered, only I someone knows how to uncheck it. Enclosed a print creen of the performance window.
I forgot to mention that I use SW 2009 and Win XP 64 bit, maybe this helps for an answer.
I did as you said and I closed all other files and the checkmark was still grey, but after a closed and reopen of the SW program it seems the OpenGL magicaly was unchecked. This is really strange.
Thanks for the answer. Now if this problem comes up again I know where to look first.
I gave the CORRECT ANSWER to some else by mistake, can it be undone? I wanted to press Greg Hynd's answer. Sorry
Close all open files in the SolidWorks and then you should be able to un-check it
