Hi all-

I'm creating a solid part with mulitbodys.I'm using the thicken command ( using split faces and offset/copy surface) to thicken surfaces.

1) is there an more efficient way to use the thicken surface command? I have to split the face then offset surface by .000 then select face and thicken? Wondering why you cant select the face and just thicken it without offsetting.

2) Not sure if ita a bug or or not but when I thicken part sometimes I forget to select the correct body to merge the thickened surface with, I try to edit the feature by selecting the correct body but when I go to rebuild it says 'select surface to thicken''. The correct surface is selected and it won't let me exit. I keeps displaying that message. The only way I can get it merged with the correct part is to delete the feature and start over. Bug or is this the way it works?

Thanks--

Joe
