I can't exclude and item from the BOM. I looked in the help files but I don't have the same options when I right click on the item to exclude and edit it Properties. I don't have an option to Exclude from BOM.

You exclude the item from the BOM in the properties of the part in the assembly.

The helps files say to do it in the Assembly Document. I thought it was in the drawing sheet because it said document and not Model.
No problem. The help files can be pretty vague sometimes.
In 2010/2011 you can exclude direct from the BOM. RBM the item & window opens. Select Exclude form BOM
