Is there a way to split a revision table? I have a drawing where adding another revision is impossible without a split.
It will depend on your company's procedures but according to ASME Y14 you do not need to keep all of the past revisions in your revision table. The standard allows for several options as to how many past revisions are required.
Nopes there is no way to do that. May be you can create a general table and add the required info in that.
You can split a BOM table but not revision. Maybe you can create a revision
table from a BOM table and then split it.
But, I do agree with Mike in that you do not need to keep all of your revisions.
We keep about 5 on the drawing, but then again we have PDM so we can
go back and see previous revisions if needed.
And you don't have to delete the older revs, you can just hide those rows of the table you don't want to keep visible.
any way to hide Rev 1 on revision table? Thanks in advance!
