Solidworks crashes while editing an existing drawing

I am fighting an on going issue. Solidworks crashes after I edit an exisiting drawing. For instance, the drawing has been created, and checked into PDM vault. I will reopen it at a later time to add more dimesnions, and it crashes as I am right clicking an exisiting ordinate.

I am right clicking to either break alignment, display jog, add to ordinate, etc.

It chrashes before the rigth click window pops up...

any ideas why it does this? PLEASE HELP

      My computer and Solidworks specs

      Dell Precision t3500; Intel xeon CPU E5530 @ 2.40GHZ

      6.00 GB RAM

      64 Bit OP Windows 7

When you reopen the drawing have you also checked it out first?  You shouldn't have to but might learn something to try it the opposite way.  Also try turning on or off the PDM add-in.  Try turning back on all dismissed messages to see if there is any help that you have banished.  Is it only this drawing or any?  What if the drawing is not in the vault?  What if none of the parts in the drawing are in the vault?  Is it only ordinate dims that cause the problem?

          Just some thoughts to investigate.
