Pretty low hour user and first post. I'm doing something very much like a boat hull with the lofted bend feature. It worked pretty neat. I can flatten a bottom or side panel and have the exact shape. Cool! But I want more. I want an accurate offset for a thick foam core and another skin to produce a sandwich and I want those also flattened. So, Imagine 1/4" plywood, 1"foam core, and another 1/4 inch plywood on the other side.
This is just an example:
Any suggestions how that might be accomplished?
Thanks.

Try this. It isn't very complete, but should give you something to work with:
I am not an experienced master part top down kind of modeler, but I think that would be the best approach, so you could trim all the panels like you want.
This was kind of cool, I have thought about this before but not enough to actually try it.
