I have an existing fully functional SolidWorks AddIn built in VB.NET, and am running SW2009, SP03.

I want/need/want to add a function to programmatically import a previously saved Parasolid file (solid body) as an Imported Feature to an EXISTING Part file. E.g., duplicate the Insert --> Feature --> Imported menu functionality.

I frequently record a macro of functionality I want in order to get the VB code, however recording a macro of this functionality produces no code. I could also find nothing in the API documentation.

I have a question lodged with our VAR however I would like to get this going quickly - so thought I would try here as well.

Any help greatly appreciated.
