Hello all,

I would like to have note pull the part number of an assembly and display it in a drawing view. Using $PRPMODEL:"NUMBER" works well for a part with a parameter defined for "NUMBER" in the part file. But that same parameter for a sub-assembly does not work with note leader pointing to it on a drawing view. Is there a sub-assembly analog for $PRPMODEL:"NUMBER" - like: $PRPASSEMBLY:"NUMBER"?  Or, can I have a leader on a note attached to the edge of an assembly rather than a part?

We do not use Solidworks BOMS with our MRP system here, which is too bad. I have to resort to this method.
