Can any one tell me why solidworks gives you two extreme bend lines on lofted bend flat pattern feature. Because my people on shop floor are a bit confused on this issue.
Mine works OK. Can you put up the file here.
i was referring to the model which michael got on his reply. i got a problem with bend degrees, i mean if you bend it to solidworks specified bend degrees while the model is created with lofted bend, i was getting my physical part over bent. i need to reduce my degrees to 1 degree on each bend, then my part is similar to what i designed in solidworks.
is there a problem with some of my setting or with solidworks, as i see this problem from 2009.
(check out bend lines on flat pattern)
This is one of the questions I have never had a good answer to
I normally just put in an extra 2 bends eg if I want 10 hits I model it up with 12
i did the same thing as you suggested, but the results are catastrophic, all my cones are over bent, we are reducing 1 to 2 degrees on all the angles to get the desired shape. i could not figure out, if i am making a mistake and where.
