After a model that uses a derived part it is checked in the vault it shows a parent parent relation. Why?

When I am checking in a model that uses a derived part it has the proper parent child relations (See Check in pic)

After it is checked in the vault it shows a parent -parent relation (See Vault view pic)

Can we have the vault show the appropriate parent child relation?
