Interested to know what font type people use for text and dimensions in drawings. It may be a bit irrelevant given the differences in drawings standards between the US and Australia. I use Arial which for numbering is good. The form of the text is good except the letters are too wide. The Arial Narrow is too narrow.

Our Australia drafting standard (AS 1100) make reference to Gothic style as a preferred style. SW has a Franklin Gothic style which is similar but the numbers are a bit fancy and broad.
