all i can see when i go start->solidworks 2010
photoworks doesnt appear on it
Check your add-ins for "photoworks". Photoview 360 is a separate program that I believe requires a premium license. Photoworks might too, I'm not sure.
In the Installation process under solidworks tab, photoworks appears, i attached a screenshot, i am currently redownloading solidworks, ive removed and readded photoworks several times, it doesnt work
i assume since its on the install list it should be able to work
have you made sure it's checked under tools>add-ins when running SW? A tab should pop up called at the top of the feature manager
What solidworks package are you running? is it proffesional or premium? also, photoworks and photoview 360 are to different things. photoworks is an add in, while photoview is standalone. check you have selected photoview 360 when you install, it will be under optins somewhere.
As before though, what license do you have?
Marshall, fyi photoview comes with professional too.
ok found photoview and added that add-in and can now render files, but when i render to file the picture is really grainy and terrible quality, i have it on high but doesnt help,
any free render programs that u know of?
one other possible solution would be to find an exporter that goes to .obj (free) or vrml, or any blender related save files and i can render in blender
really any export would work
student version doesnt come with photoview 360 i guess
