Hard drive configuration-SSD for SW working folder?

Hi All,

I'm spec'ing new workstations for our office (Dell T3500, Xeon W3680, FX 1800, WIN7P) and am wondering about hard drive configuration.  We use PDM on our network and work on models from working folders on our local disks.  Would there be an advantage to using an SSD for our SW working folders whilst keeping all system files on a conventional 7200 or 10k rpm drive?  The idea being that SW our working folders are relatively small so SSD capacity wouldn't be an issue.

Thanks!

Shaun
