I just installed SolidWorks 2010 last week and have found the option for creating drawings is not available.  I have looked through all of the forums on here as well as google, and have verified that my SolidWorks is pointing to the correct locations for it's templates:

When I try to create a drawing from a saved part/assembly I receive the following error:

Cannot open C:|Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 2010\templates\Drawing.drwdot.

The system could not recognize the file.

I click OK, then receive:

The default templats are not valid. The problems can be resolved by correcting the default templates under the ooptions dialog.

Do you want to continue with a blank template?

If I click OK, nothing happens.

It appears that the .drwdot file is unable to be read.  In addition, I have tried to load other drawings from samples online, as well as files I have from previous versions.  It appears that my SolidWorks will NOT open any drawing.  I receive the same "Cannot Open" error with all other .slddrw files.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
