I have a weldment that I have been using with no problems. After two weeks, yesterday, I wanted to move a component.
In the Feature Manager, the 3D Sketch line is gone!
What did I do wrong?
How do I fix it?
Toggle the + signs to the left of your features in the feature tree. Your sketch was likely absorbed into one of your features. By toggling the plus sign you will be able to see your sketches that your features are built with. I would start with your last feature then work your way up the feature tree.
Jim welcome for the forums
What you mean by gone. Can you see the sketch in the feature manger tree but can't see in the graphics area? Did you hide it by mistake? Can you post a screen of what you see of the expanded FM tree or the part itself. Try force rebuild (Ctrl + Q) and then check. Select sketches under View menu to set the sketches to show and then check. Try searching for the 3d sketch in the FM tree.
Thanks for the quick reply. I see the sketch, I see the tree, I don't see it hidden, ctrl Q didn't help, Hide-show has everything set as auto or show (default settings).
It isn't down below in the tree, it always appeared between "weldment" and "structural member 1". In all of my other weldments the 3D Sketch line is still there.
I don't know what I did????
Anna pointed out what I had been thinking but just wanted to make sure that there is nothing else. Go ahead with what Anna has suggested to do
You were right. It has been "absorbed" into a plate that was the last part added.
Can I move it back?
Thanks for the help
