i try to import SW 2010 version part file(*.sldprt) in mod 401. but not open in modo. why? or have a any methord?
My first guess is that you are using the 64bit version of modo. There is no loader for this currently. If that is the case, what you need to do is load the 32 bit version of modo on the same machine as the 64 bit verion. From that point, you need to open up the SW file in 32bit version and "save as" a .lxo file. From that point you can then open the converted file in modo 64 bit.
Another guess is that you have the trial version of modo. I don't think this contains the importer (although I am not totally sure on this). If this is the case, you can contact Luxology and I think they will get it for you. But the same rule applys above...you have to use the 32bit version to import SW files.
Since you mentioned that your file is a SW2010 file, that should be able to open up in the latest Service pack (I think 5) of modo 401. So, these are the only two things I can think of that would cause you to be unable to open a SW file.
Let me know if this works for you.
If it doesn't, my next suggestion would be to get a 2009 file. Also - you can feel free to send me your file and I can see if it will open on my machine.
