I am starting to use a lot of those standard extruded aluminum profiles.

One of my last projects is this:

I created a special part with different configurations for the length of the profiles but what I like is just one part that adjusts its length based on my assembly.

I actually want only one (1) part for a given profile and control the length from within the assembly withou having to update the part. Best thing would be if the length is determined depending on mates in the assemly such that a profile automatically changes its size when I change the dimensions of the front panel or the height of the complete cabinet.

I think this should be possible somehow ?

An yes, I do know that you can create frames with SW but my frames tend to contain different types of profiles, special corner pieces or certain special 'filler' elements like show in the picture below.
