I recently noticed MS Outlook pop-ups when I open an edrawing and the program is trying to access my email addresses and send an email. Has anyone else observed this?
Never seen it, but I would suggest looking under the option settings in
Outlook to see it there is a trail or link to edrawings. There isn't anything
I've seen this when eDrawings crashes. It is an attempt to send a log file to SolidWorks for them to analyze.
Try this. Open up e-drawings, Tools>>Options>>, and uncheck "Enable performance email".

Terrific! That's been irritating me for years. Thanks, Michael!
You can also turn it off via the registry. From the command line run (where 0=off, 1=on):
reg add "HKLM\SOFTWARE\eDrawings\Performance Logging" /v "Email Enabled" /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /freg add "HKCU\Software\eDrawings\Performance Logging" /v "Email Enabled" /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
