I am gathering that you are wanting to learn SolidWorks? If you are there are several companies that have CD video lectures that and very easy to understand and follow, two that I have worked with are Solid Professor http://www.solidprofessor.com/default.asp and Inspirtech http://inspirtech.com/ with the web based companies you get the option to go further into SW if your just wanting the basics ... http://catalogs.mhhe.com/mhhe/viewProductDetails.do?isbn=0073375438 this is a textbook published by McGraw-Hill it has step by step instructions as well as a 150 day student ed and its around $71.00
What I look for and suggest when we hire someone using SW is that they have at least knowledge of assemblies..
