I have one jam nut that will not display when I drag it into an assembly from the toolbox. I have never seen this before, has anyone else?

How could we see it if it's invisible?
Sorry, don't use Toolbox ... but couldn't resist the smartarse reply.
Do you have the section view on in assembly (is yes turn it off and check)
Can you create the Jam Nut as separate part and then can you see if you insert it in the assembly.

No, the section view is not on. I start a new assembly to test the part. I did at one point have the section view on in the nut itself.
I did create the nut as a seperate part, and if I open the nut and drag it into an assembly, it dynamically displays fine, and snaps to the mate reference. But when I drag it from the Toolbox, the part does not display until you drop it. So then you can't were you are dropping it, and you have to mate it as a secondary operation.
I beleive the issue is in how the "End Chamfer" is created,. I created the end chamfer in a slightly different manner, and the mate reference is not being recognized.
How could we see it if it's invisible?
