Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this rather odd minor issue/annoyance - when opening a SLDPRT file from within Windows Explorer(Running Win7 Pro x64, SW Education Edition Academic Year 2010-2011 w/SP4,) a user(professor that teaches the use of SW) gets the error: "There was a problem sending the command to the program" and seconds later SW opens and the contents of the file are displayed.

If we were to right-click on the same file in Explorer, select Open With, Choose Default Program, Browse..., select Sldworks.exe from c:\program files\solidworks 2010\solidworks\, it opens fine. (making it default)

If we were to right-click on the same file in Explorer, select Open With, select Sldworks, the error occurs

This has been tried with both a user account and an administrator account.

Happens with any SLDPRT file.

Any assistance/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Hopefully soon, before I uninstall/reinstall SW.

Thanks,

Chris
