Help, I downloaded edrawingsviewer and when I try to open a file I get error stating I need explorer 5.5 or newer. Windows 7 has explorer 8 anybody? Also what extension does the file have to have in order to open in edrawing?
By default edrawings should open .dwg and any SWorks formats. The native edrawing files are .eprt, .easm, .edrw.
I installed edrawings last night on my Dell M4500 laptop (Win 7) and it ran just fine - I do have Explorer 8.
Kevin, this might be a permissions restriction by Windows 7 (not allowing Explorer to open while using eDrawings). When you start eDrawings, are you allowing eDrawings to "make changes to this computer"? If not, that might be what's hindering eDrawings.
