Does anyone know if it is possible to look up a specific SPR and find out its status? I am clueless. The number I want to look up is 430170.
Yes, I know where the list of fixed SPRs is, but I want to find out if this specific SPR is resolved or not. (it is not in the list)
It is terrible that the knowledge base gives me an SPR number and a link to the page of resolved SPRs. It does not help a bit.
Hi Christopher... when you log in to the customer portal you should have the option to go to the "Knowledge Base" which is located under "My Support". If you punch in the SPR number you're looking for and hit "Search" it should come back with any Knowledge Base Articles that refer to the number or text you entered into the search box. In this case you can then select the SPR listed (which will be one of two results shown).
If this is up to date, which it should be, then it suggests that the Status of SPR 430170 is Open which basically means unresolved. A way around continually checking the status of an SPR is to raise a ticket via your reseller and ask that they submit an SR to SolidWorks asking you be notified when this SPR has been changed.
