I'm doing advanced surfacing and I need to split a curve and take 1 section of it, so your saying solidworks can't do that ? huh !! I'll have to creat a curve then to fill that in ?
There is nearly always a workaround (yeah I know ...SolidWorkArounds).
Place the Reference Points as I mentioned, then use the Split Entities tool at each point.
where do you find the split enties tool ?

No! But you can place Reference Points equally spaced along the curves.
