Open a part drawing; draw a 50mm diameter circle on the front plane origin.

Make a second plane “Plane 1” 100mm in front of the front plane.

Draw a 50mm diameter circle on Plane 1, 25mm to the right and 25mm below the origin.

The circles are eccentric in the front view. Change the view to isometric so the planes and

circles are clearly visible. Here is the problem… I want to connect the circles with a line at the circles center.

I want to initiate the line in the circle in the front plane and end it in the circle of plane 1.

The line will only stay in the front plane even though in appears to be going to Plane 1.

How do I switch planes after a line has been initiated?
