Hi all,

Has anybody come across rebuild errors using the sewpt boss/base?.  I'm trying to create either a sqaure (or ACME thread bar).  I've look around on the internet and through soildwork books as I'm new to solidworks to give me idea of how it's done.

I have crated the helix for my "path" of the thread with no problems, but I can only get the swept function to work if I use a circle for the "profile" sketch.  If I change the sketch to a square or any other shape I get a rebuild error, the desription of which saying "sweep operation failed to complete".

I'm using the student design kit version so I don't know if this has anything to do with it or not.

Has this happened to anyone else in the past?  Any ideas what I could be doing wrong?
