We have made the transition from Inventor into SolidWorks and found that the "Tangent Bend" button doesn't exist is anybody experiencing this issue also? And if so how are you dealing with it.
We have made the transition from Inventor into SolidWorks and found that the "Tangent Bend" button doesn't exist is anybody experiencing this issue also? And if so how are you dealing with it.
Here's a picture of the option setting in Inventor.
Interesting - that's an option we don't have. The only way I know to do that is to create that area in a sketch and extrude it, then insert the sheet metal features. Or, create the flange, measure where it is and then manually adjust the bend to move it.

Not sure what you mean by "Tangent Bend" button. Do you have a screen shot or something? There are several types of bends available and I don't know what to suggest without understanding what you want.
