Hey Gang,
New to the forum, and still somwhat what new to SW and PV360. If I am asking this in the wrong section I appogize in advance.
Im am rendering SW Assems / SW parts in PV360 for pics to used in our new website, and I am finding that some parts will not hold the "paint" color I am applying. The parts have a pixelated, speckeled or refective quality to them - thus, when "paint" is applied it has a transparent look and the part looks more like "overspray" from a spray can of paint. Other parts w/in the assem will hold hold the paint. I have tried to go back into the orig SW Part file and change the material ( like changing from 6061 to rubber) with NO positive results.
Has anybody experienced the same? And would anybody have any insight as to what I can do to fix this phenom?
Using SW 2010 Premium
Thanks
CC
Interesting to note - in the SW assem, parts are also different in color even with both SW parts having same material.
The copy/paste should work then. Sounds like you have an assembly appearance overiding your part appearance in SW and that is transfering in to PV360.
