I have this card installed in a system with the SW recommended reference drivers for Windows 7 64bit. It says that this card can support all things including realview with no issues. I have no realview icon. Any suggestions?
Bump....I have no hair.
Go to System Options/ Performance and make sure that Use Software OpenGL is not checked.
Thank you sincerely for the response.
- Open GL is checked, but it is also greyed out so that I cannot uncheck it. The driver is certified for the Version of Solidworks we are using.
Just close all the solidworks files and try again. you should be able to uncheck it.
Thanks again, but the situation still confounds.
I closed the open documents and it was still greyed. I closed and restarted Solidworks, then immediately tried to change the option but it is still checked and greyed out.
This means there is an issue with your graphics driver. You said you downloaded the certified driver from the SolidWorks website, so that makes this a tough nut to crack. Hardware failure?
Are you on subscription? If so, send an Rx report to your VAR and you should be up and running in no time.
Problem solved. The "tested" drivers don't work with real view. I don't know if it is only this system configuration or not. I installed the latest drivers from ATI and now realview is supported without issue. I've done this on 2 machines thus far and no problems.
