Solidworks uses Excel spreadsheet as OLE, is it possible to use Open office instead of Excel speadsheet?
Any OLE compliant document can be linked or embbeded into SW.
If you are asking if Open Office Spreadsheet can be used in place of a Design Table;
The new Configuration Table function in SW can also be used to create configs without using an Excel DT.
Thank you for you help
I`m not really sure but somehow OLE objects could be program related.. For example if you have inserted Excel OLE object to model it can not be opened with OpenOffice.Org. Maybe same functionality could be when you insert AutoCAD DWG and try to open it with DWGEditor. Someone should check if this is true.
