After recently upgrading to windows 7 64b, randomly my screen will stop updating. If I resize my window then it starts updating again. What gives?

What version of SW, video card make & driver, mouse & other system info may help with diagnosing. I had problems with this in 2008 that was tied back to the mouse driver. I was using an MS mouse with their Intellipoint driver and this was causing graphical issues like this. I since switched to Logitech mice & drivers and solved the problem. Also make sure that you have the latest drivers that are approved by SW for your video card.
Did you update your graphics card driver to the approved version for your hardware, OS and version of SolidWorks?

Do you have Windows Aero enabled? The SolidWorks graphics area uses some Windows Aero features so it needs to be enabled.

I am running SW2010 x64 SP4.0. I think that's the latest.
I have an NVIDIA Quadro FX570 video card. It appears to be fully approved by Solidworks, though my driver is a bit outdated. I am in the process of updating the driver to see if that helps.
Other info on the system:
HP xw8600 workstation
X5450 @ 3GHz
16GB ram
Standard PS/2 Compatible mouse, driver ver: 6.1.7600.16385
HP LP3065 monitor running Generic PnP Monitor driver ver: 6.1.7600.16385
Is there any other info I can provide to help diagnose?
Thanks again for the help!
EDIT: yes, I do have Aero enabled.
