I have been trying to download and install a file and I keep getting a " Error 1606. Could not access network location %APPDATA%\. "
Any suggestions. I have deleted and retried, closed all other files then tried again. No change.

Any suggestions. I have deleted and retried, closed all other files then tried again. No change.
It is a file I downloaded for a new CAD Viewer. The install wizard stops and gives me this message.
What cad viewer are you trying to install?
OS is WIN 7
Veiwer is Edrawings Viewer from Solidworks.
Are you installing as an Administrator or a user with admin rights?
Either way, try creating a new user account with full admin rights, and re-install.
Which OS are you running, and which OS is the CAD Viewer supposed to run on?
Are you installing to a local machine or to a server?
Where did you download the file to on your computer or the network?
Do you have admin rights to your computer to be able to install your software?
Do you have UAC set to a high level of security?
The folder you do not seem to be able to access is the AppData folder under a user account I beleive. It appears you do not have read/write access to the folder.
If the exe is located on a server, I would move it to your local machine and launch it from your computer.

What type of file is it?
