I would like to transfer and activate licence with new Activation Manager for SolidWorks 2011, but when I run and choose transfer or activate licene shows that it is imposible, because unable to reach licence activation site. When I start SW2011, I can activate and transfer licence.
Did you have any similiar problem?

This is an oldie, but goodie! Sometimes your firewall will cause your SOLIDWORKS not to access the SOLIDWORKS website, due to port restrictions, thus not allowing it to automatically activate the version of SOLIDWORKS you are working with. However, rather than getting your IT involved or calling your VAR, this can be bypassed and here are the steps to take.

This will bring a window to pop up saying you need to do three small steps.

You first need to transfer the license off the currently active machine and then activate it on the other. You say you're having trouble contacting the SW server - maybe it was temporarily down?
