Could someone diagnose what to do if some amount dimensions are very far away .
I cannot get them see , please help
Zoom all and drag the dimensions closer
If it would be so simple , I would do it ,
I cannot drag dimension cause I can only see extension lines
(it seems they have infinite length )
How can I zoom infinities
Then best might be to delete them and recreate (if possible)
good sugestion (maybe solution is at hand )
, but they are taken from subassem ,
how will I know I am recovering proper dim?
besides I am not able to select them
Are the dimensions placed correctly in the models feature sketches?
dimensions have origin also from operations ,
and extra view was created to place dims and some hide ,
yes , dimensions are not placed corectly (in that view)
I wanna catch them to see
When importing the dimensions try using the Insert > Model Items > Options > Use dimension placement in sketch option.
<Tools> <Options> <Document Properties> and check the button for "Always display text at the same size" - this might help you to see and then get hold of the dimension and drag it to the right place.
This happens to me sometimes when I dimension the sketch at a angle, (like the attached)
then the dimension will shoot off to the abis, I hit undo then rotate my model to be more squared off,
I established I did similar things like you
and also created extra view and some dims moved in
and some some hide
thanks for the answers but
still when rotating or zooming it is infinite or disappear
As already mentioned here zoom all, and place the cursor on the extension line holding left mouse click as shown and drag toward the skecth or part.
The snap shots below do not show the cursor on the extension line ( could not be capture on PRTSC SYSWQ.). I did use SW2010 SP4.0.
I can't get that <---------->
line even min or max zooming
to execute your sugestion
