Hi
My options are .sdlasm .asmdot .sldalasm and of course .easm. I don't seem to be able to save as parasolid either.
Thanks
William
More questions... Have you got access to anyone with a full version? Perhaps get in touch with whoever supplied Solidworks to you - a Value Added Reseller (VAR) or other body - and ask them to do the Save As for you. You can get all your assembly parts, etc in one place with 'Pack & Go' (File>Pack and Go).
student kits do not allow any saving other than SolidWorks files......locked out so they cannot use student versions for commercial work. if you can go to the school...the educational version allows any type of files to be saved. also remember a file that is saved as a iges or step or parasolid, ect, will be a dumb solid in the older version......just a big blob, no smarts.
Hi William - I'm not familiar with the Student Edition. What are your 'Save As' options? Have you tried Save As Parasolid (x_t)?
