I don't know if this is 64bit related or not but there seems to be some wierdness going on with display states in my assemblies.

I have an assembly with different configurations established for hiding / showing various parts and also for changing the paint color of the unit.

The initial set up seems to go just fine but after initial set up all heck breaks loose the next time I go and open the file.  The hide / show seems to work well but the whole concept of changing the colors at the assembly level is a little bit buggy IMHO.  I have a unique display state assigned for each configuration, I can show all display states and toggle between them and the colors will change but when I toggle between configurations (which changes the display state) the colors do not change.   Sometimes all the parts will show the proper color when toggling sometimes not.  Sometimes the color changes and shows properly sometimes not.

I do use PV360 so I am not sure if this could be adding to the problem or not but generally I use the appearances set in SW and do not add or change them PV, only the background environment.

Its about to drive me freaking insane due to being so unpredictable and unreliable.

I am running:

Windows XP 64bit

SolidWorks 2009 sp5.1
